Change of format
Sunraysia Motor Sport Club has been busy planning for Round 2 of the 2018 ARB Australian Off Road Racing Championship the ARB Sunraysia 400 to be held over the weekend of 20th to 22nd April at Keera Station approximately 50km west of Mildura.
At a recent meeting the club decided to change the format of the event and follow the success of Griffith Off Road Club this format allows for safer, fairer and more competitive racing.
Scrutiny will this year be held at the track from 3pm to 8pm on Friday 20th April
The event will be conducted over two (2) days and in two (2) races.
Reconnaissance & Scrutineering will be held on Friday.
Saturday will see Prologue for all Classes followed by Classes 2, 3, 5, 6, 66, 7, 8 & 10 completing their 6 laps.
Unlimited, 1 & 4 competing their 6 laps on Sunday.
The ARB Sunraysia 400 event prologue is approximately 10kms in length and the full course is approximately 390kms, comprising 6 laps of 65km with a total distance of 400km. Results from the two days racing will be merged to give total event result.
The club will be having a pit / paddock area. The paddock will become a pit at a designated time (time will be advised in the supplementary regulations). The pits will go back to a paddock again when the start line closes on both Saturday & Sunday.
Catering will be provided at the track throughout the weekend with a roast dinner available Saturday night.
There will be camping available at the track. A designated camping area will be available at a cost of $20 per person over the age of 16 for the weekend. Showers and toilets will be available.
Camping will be in the designated camp area only there will be NO camping in the pit / paddock area.
As Keera Station is a working station we ask that No dogs or glass are bought on the property.
